 A brainstorm / discussion on healthy housing approaches for Brixton. We will kick off with a brief history and overview of Brixton history, opportunities and challenges around the provision of housing presented by Brixton resident and architect Mark Schearer. Thorsten Deckler, also a Brixton resident and architect, will present the 495 City concept, a housing development approach, that looks at achieving a safer, more accessible neighbourhood through a range of housing options. This will set the scene for a brainstorm and discussion on what can be done in Brixton.
